Everytime we've gone has been on the 1st base side. Good beer selection. Hot as hell though lol.

1B and outfield are mostly sun fields in every ball park I’ve been to, I’d never do a summer game in the sun all day, did it once in Atl in Aug and it really sucked. I learned to pick seats to hide from the sun, HOF seats in Philly I get into the last rows, lower bowl the same the upper deck keeps the sun off you, all on the 3B side. I hate being hot.

Just as bad or worse is being one of two teams to play the most games deep in October last season, then start this season on the west coast for 11 straight games. Wtf was MLB thinking?!?

Maybe cold or the chance of snow depending on where perhaps. No way to predict this early spring.

I remember back in 2009/10 a Hop Devil was $5.50 for a 20oz pour. That was wort buying.

I cant do $12-14 pours at a game. I pre game a few, bring my own food and drinks and just enjoy the game.

Tickets are already a lot so I cant add beer on top of that

One year CBP had Prism Shady Blonde w/ blood oranges in it. Great beer for a hot baseball day.

    Go Phillies.

    Enjoy

Exactly. Was at a bar across the street from the ballpark last weekend and had one. It is basically Shiner Bock.

The can is cool with a cool name. That’s about it..

Even in 2017 finding Smuttynose & Jack's Abby was hard ... nothing was consistent and the staff could care less. Fenway is a joke when it comes to beer aside from the different Sam Adams offerings. Was drinking a lot of Narraganset last year.

One thing I have learned about the South Jersey/Philly area is that folks around here probably have the highest sodium intake of any other region I've been to. Just a few local cuisine staples:
    • Cheesesteak
    • Panzerotti (basically a deep fried calzone)
    • Pretzels
    • Crab fries
    • Pork Roll
    • Scrapple
No wonder why pilsners (and lagers in general) are so popular here

Yup, it is called a WIN-WIN!

    Cheers!

P.S. You forgot to specifically state Philly Soft Pretzels on your list.

I was going to, but in all honesty people around just eat shitloads of both. People I work with are munching on hard preztels (utz, snyder's, etc.) when they aren't chewing on softies. Even more fascinating, sometimes they'll be eating them at 9 or 10AM with their coffee like a fine pastry or something

Because those darn employers won't let them drink beer.

I used to keep a barrel* of Snyder's Sour Dough Pretzels in my office.

    Like this but with Snyder's:

    * I used to 'cheat' and just refill the barrel with bagged Snyder's Sour Dough Pretzels.:flushed:

That is exactly the same tub of pretzels that they're always digging into lol. In effort to keep this on subject: god damn I'm craving a nice pilsner beer and a ballgame now :cry:thanks!:rage:

Well I do have some German in me so I'll never hate on any sort of brezel. The whole eating-them-in-the-morning with your coffee thing made zero sense to me though for a while. Definitely one of those "don't knock it 'til you've tried it" sorta deals. You definitely won't catch me dipping them in mustard in early in the AM though....

Joking aside, salty pretzel + bittersweet coffee (i make mine 1+1) it's a pretty good combo and really not all far apart flavor-wise from the famous Buttered Roll & Coffee™ of the North Jersey/NY region.

While I like some of the beer Boston Beer Company puts out like Sam 76 as well as their NEIPA....a little local variety would be nice! Especially considering Lawson’s and treehouse beers have been randomly available at Gillette stadium this past season.

Is the St. Louis Cradinals team still owned by Anheuiser Busch? If so, I'm surprised that there are 4 local craft beers named in this list plus a reference that there are others available too.

That’s a good thought right there, you might be right. Don’t forget the big ass hoagies, and sausage and pepper sandwiches, meatball subs, veal parm sandwiches. Everyone in the Delaware Valley should be fat, we grow up on this stuff. Pork roll with provolone and a slab of onion is killer good.
