    looks to be another Evil Twin collaboration ready to go via SP IG stories. hard to tell, but looks like a maple and whiskey barrel aged barleywine.

    Yeah, name looks to be Maltvin - Maple & Whiskey Barrel Aged English Barleywine - the Styrbjorn blog post had some info when it went into barrels:
    The IG story also showed off labels for the new batch of Thicket!

    I initially thought this beer sounded gross, then realized it was maple syrup bourbon barrels, not maple syrup. Really looking forward to drinking this one

    per the Styrbjorn blog post, they were trying to emulate some kind of cinnamon roll flavor with this barleywine. #pastrybarleywineisnowlife

    is it me or does the wording of the blog post makes it sound like they were planning to do two different variants, with the maple bourbon one going for the cinnamon roll flavor?

    Definitely what it says but I’m guessing that plan changed somewhere along the lines. Probably tried some and thought it was too good to taint with the beetus or the flavors wouldn’t meld.
