    Unicorn vs internet cats?

I wonder how the brewery cats feel about this.

As a big fan of the 2nd Shift and their cats, its going to be hard for me to pick a side here.

Deciding which is better KoB or NvU v The Haze is like deciding which color Lamborghini you want to drive.

Cracked one last night. I'm just going to dub their oat enhanced IPA beers as the "Physics Series (or said with a lisp Theories)" of beers since they have names dealing with motion, sound, velocity, and light. These beers are great and Absolute Motion fits right in. Is it award winning? No, but it doesn't need to be. It really comes down to what your preferences are for IPAs but, this reminds me of those good, hoppy TG beers that I love. I found this beer to have enough complexities going on to keep me interested and may be the winner so far vs. Velocity of Light and Speed of Sound. If you liked the previous two in the series definitely pick up Absolute Motion...if you didn't, you probably don't need to try this one.

Quick Note - not that you'll be lining up at the door for it today - but wanted to make sure nobody was making the trip specifically for it - unfortunately PBJ Jones cannot be packaged today like anticipated. The beer is fine and in the tank and will get packaged, but we just can't get it in the bottles today =(

Will send out newsletter and social media stuff but figured would start right here first...

I have a vivid mental image of the Pipeworks crew trying to push peanut butter and jelly sandwiches into the necks of bombers while the brewery cats shake their heads in dismay.

Cracked 2 BA Pipeworks last night.

Port Barrel Aged Abduction was a bit boring...straight-up Port flavors overpowering the base beer. It wasn't bad, but lacked subtlety. One note.

However, the Cognac Barrel Aged Jones Dog was a revelation; Cognac, marshmallow, oak, earth & milk chocolate notes. It was a clear favorite of the share...OK, tied with the 2015 Allagash Coolship Resurgam.

If you've got one in your cellar/fridge...I recommend cracking now! I can't imagine it can get much better.

    @NOTpipeworks
What was the rational when you packaged Brewincornski in 22oz bombers instead of 16oz cans? I’m curious what thoughts go into the brewer’s decision when choosing a format for packaging certain types of beer.
    TIA

My guess is the 16oz cans wouldn't have worked out too well in the 22oz bottling line....

Good question, seem like odd choices unless I am grossly discounting the demand for schwarzbiers or pale ales.

Their haze moves much faster than their other one offs

Missed opportunity, bomber format would have lent itself to a cheap "your Schwartz is as big as mine" joke!

Whether the amount of beer is divisible by 22 or 64 ounces? #wastenot

If the quality of their other lagers are any indicator, this schwarzbier should be in high demand. Whether it will be or not is another question.

It pains me to post this but had a regular BA Jones Dog last week that was infected. Sour, bitter, and off. As it is one of my favorite beers every year I was wondering if it is just an anomaly. God I hope so
