    Just picked up a bottle for my target that they recently posted an ISO for.

    I just picked up a special bottle tonight, from a brewery in Grand Rapids. My target doesn't appear to have it on their wants yet. Hopefully that changes :grinning:

    So far, I have gathered 5 wants for a box that will be heading east as soon as I can decide on the final 3 items!

    Mine won't be going out until the end of next week, so it should arrive just at the end of the shipping window. Got two wants and one little known example of a favorite style already though!

    So boxes need to land by the 5th and we start opening on the 8th? I'll probably ship on Monday the 26th. Still trying to figure out the right progression of bottles to wow my target in an orderly manner :grinning:

    My target is located to the south of me.

    Yes, that's the plan. I placed the landing date earlier, just incase the shipping might take longer than expected. Also, the 8th is a Saturday, so FedEx won't drop off that day. Growler should be the first to be opened.

    My target's box is coming together nicely - hit a few Wants and made an informed guess or two. The real problem here is trying to decide what to fill this growler with...

    Yeah the growler is the hard one for me too. Too bad the brewery down the road, Bell's, doesn't do Growlers.

    Has anyone decided on what growler they are going to get? If it's too difficult, we could just make it 8 bottles. Thoughts?

    Oh, I've got plenty of other choices in my area for a Growler, just was really hoping to get a growler of something not distributed or released in bottle ever.

    MA isn't a great growler state either due to some pretty strict growler laws - basically you're only going to get them at the brewery or from breweries who distribute to stores in growler format. No random taps like in other states... But there are lots of local breweries with good solid fresh growlers, and I'm more than happy to get something like that from another state.

    Not that it matters a whole lot, but FWIW, Fedex Home standard operating days are Tuesday-Saturday, and Fedex Ground standard operating days are Monday-Friday. So if you're shipping to somebody's house, it is quite likely to land on a Saturday, which happens with half my boxes being on the coast...

    Ah thanks for the info. I wasn't able to ship out Saturday one time for a box and was told they also don't deliver on Saturday. Gotta love solid info haha.

    I got a growler today for my target that I'm pretty excited about :slight_smile: I really enjoyed drinking a glass of it myself!

    A coworker of mine will hopefully be picking up a growler of something for me this weekend. If I get the rest of the bottles I may ship early and ask that my target "consume the growler fresh or not at all"

    My targets city had a sitcom filmed there, and it was a big part of the show.
