I am gaining more confidence packing more than four pints at a time. The primary reason I ship just four at a time has to do with UPS ripping me off (twice). I sent a box of 7 Veil brews (not cheap). Box got lost. They would not reimburse me without detail recents and also kept the shipping charge. The second box never made it out of the shipping store although I am sure it did under someones coat. No reimbursement for that one also.

FedEx has been better. They lost two boxes but reimbursed me the total costs without hassle so I feel I no longer have to consider keeping my losses to a minimum.

Besides, who in their right mind would want more than four Veil or Triple Crossing brews!

Wow, that is some bad luck. I think I’ve probably sent 500 boxes and have not had one go missing. I think I’ve sent one that had a bottle break, but still delivered. Have received two with broken bottle/can as well. Never had any lost completely

 

I’m itching to get my targets.

 

I have sent about 100 boxes. Four were lost.

I’m headed down the street to my neighbor now to hopefully recover ANOTHER box of possible retaliation from @brutalfarce . Will report back soon.

Damn, come to think of it, I owe you a box. Any preference? Veil? Triple Crossing? Another Richmond brewery? I think the box that did make it through had a mix of all three.

I’ve been crushing fruit beers like crazy lately, so those will be a treat. Hops are still king in this boys house and the hops here look pretty impressive. All accompanied by a nice note explaining the retaliation and theme of “Taste the rainbow”.

Anthony, thank you for the delayed return fire, it’s much appreciated. True class. Although I don’t have the greatest memory ever(I drink a lot sometimes), I do believe you already got me back for that BIF round. Hmmmm, looks like somebody’s tryin to start somethin!!!!!

I’ve been exclusively USPS since around box 100. Everyone seems to have bad luck with certain carriers and good luck with others. I know some have bad luck with USPS, but they are the only one I trust.

 

And you can only beat a day with a great box of beers with a day with 2 great boxes of beers! @brutalfarce with the retaliation ninja! He struck hard and true.

Call me paranoid or a conspiracy theorist but I think some folks at UPS figured out I was shipping beer and thought they could get away with stealing it. Got no proof. Just a hunch
