Man today was a day. Lugged a bunch of beer through the NYC subways, met up with fellow biffer @totalbangover , and saw my first one of these :

I’ve been hit... and hit hard...

Walk in the door to a box that I can’t believe even fit on my porch step and proceeded to open, cautiously...

First sights brought in delicious sweets.

Orange cream pop Twizzlers! Didn’t even know those existed but me and my boys already know we love them! And then chocolate (which my wife, mistakingly, thinks is for her) Mounds are my favorite chocolate.

Then opened further and there was a box of beer inside the box!


A wonderful assortment of great looking brews. We have,

Rar - 10 layers (imp. Dessert stout aged in red wine barrels)

Budai (IPA w/ Buddha’s hand, oranges, lime & mint)

Next Beer Due (sour w/ raspberries, lemon, toasted coconut, vanilla & milk sugar)
Bale (imp. Stout w/ peanut butter, cocoa nibs & caramel)
Cocoa Mapalm (imp. Stout w/ maple syrup)

Jordan, thank you for the wonderful box that nailed my preferences and for your generosity. It will be returned...

I am signing my oldest boy up for kindergarten tonight and I will definitely be celebrating with one of these brews later.

Doing research (drinking at a brewery) and procuring cans and bottles for my soon to be disclosed targets. Hopefully they like fruited saison.

 

And anyone who knows me even a little bit can figure out where I am.

I’m gonna try keeping up with you guys, but I’ll admit, I am nervous. First DLD n all.

I am gonna try bringing stuff that will be of interest to share though.

 

There's no real trick to it! Drink lots of water and don't forget to eat. You'll be fine, dude! Last year was my first - I saw plenty of dudes who were blackout drunk everywhere, and there's no shame in that. Just don't be a jackass, concentrate on having fun and hanging out with your buddies, and it'll all be fine in the end!

 

Oh, and don't steal my bottles. Because I will end the ************ that does it this year!

 

I hear you man. That sucks that happened to you. Such a POS thing to do, and to a person who has amazing karma in the beer world, too.
