Hello. Is there a way to determine the bottling date on Lagunita's beer. I didin't see anything on the bottle, maybe didn't look hard enough, and didn't have the case box to look at. Thanks for any assistance.
They Jullian Code all of their bottles. There will be a number printed on the neck of the bottle and the first 3 digits represent the day of the year it was brewed. Hold the bottle up to the light if you are having trouble finding the number. It can be a little difficult to see.
Thank you everybody! I knew I missed the obvious. Cheers! Feel free to delete the thread, Oh Wise Ones!

I've always found their dates challenging to read, if at all they were even present on the bottles. My first experience of Hop Stoopid was mind blowing, the subsequent 5 bottles were a disappointment to say the least thanks to the lack of their freshness information. I now make it a point to avoid most Lagunitas IPAs until I can be sure they're really really fresh, which is a bloody shame considering they really are masters of the hop work in their beers. Sorry Lagunitas, it's high time you got on the program of bottling dates like the rest of the craft world....and by this I mean human-readable, plain English dates.
