    Have a nice Saturday BA.

This is still tasting fantastic. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart blueberries, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, vanilla, toasted coconut, bourbon, oak, and dark bread; with lighter notes of molasses, licorice, and raisins. Light roasted bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Full bodied creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel. Light roast malt chalkiness, fruit tang/acidity, and increasing dryness. Never cloyingly sweet, but definitely a dessert beer. Amazingly smooth, minimally warming 10.5%. A near perfect balance of berries, cocoa/vanilla, rich malts, and barrel character. Tons of flavor complexity, and it all comes together extremely well. I've always been a big fan of fruit stouts, so I'm not surprised how much I loved this one. Seems pretty polarizing to most people, but this is one of my favorites from the barrel series. This is the 13th bomber I've had, and my last one as well. Well worth the price. Hope they make it again some day. It has actually gotten less sweet over the last 2 years, a bit more berry tartness right now.

Foundation / Old Nation collab NEDIPA. This was fantastic. Great fluffy head retention/thick foam lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, coconut, red apple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, cedar, mint, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; creamy, silky, bready, grainy malts; some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering resin dryness; no hop astringency. Very smooth, nicely soft, minimal warming 8.2%. Fantastic Sabro, Mosaic, Centennial profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balanced bready oat/pils/Vienna malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Glad I got the pack as expected.

Incredible IPA as always, one of my main classic favorites. Lasting thick head retention/lacing the whole glass. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate toasted bread, light honey/caramel malt balance; and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body. Balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light lingering resins/rinds. Fairly crisp/drying, and extremely drinkable; never astringent. Never gets old, always fantastic. I will always love classic C hopped beers, even with all of the new hop varieties around. Awesome vibrant/juicy and fairly dank/earthy Centennial hops; great balancing bready Munich malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness from lingering crisp resin dryness. Got a fresh pack recently. Will keep around more often than I have been last year.

Fantastic wheat ale as usual. Flavors of big tangerine, red grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit, light honey malt balance; and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, grassy, citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus bodied; great bready/grainy wheat creaminess and light hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Slightly increasing bitter dryness. Insanely drinkable and refreshing, with awesome Amarillo hop juiciness and vibrancy. Never pass this up when I see it now, unless Zombie Dust is available.

[IMG] As a retired pot head, I still enjoy 4/20, but normally with just Dank brews these days. So when this showed up in a box from @jzeilinger the other day, I knew it would be my starter and a very good one at that JZ. Bottled on 3/22/19 pours a very clear dark orange with a finger sticky white head that leaves plenty of thin lace behind. 4.5

Smell is mango, tangerine, marijuana, and some mild grapefruit simple and excellent. 4.25

Taste follows the dank marijuana starts with tangerine, mango, pineapple, and grapefruit balanced in the very pleasant finish. 4.5

Mouthfeel is a solid medium, plenty of life, not New England style but still has softness with out be dry, and at 7.4% extremely crushable. 4.5

Overall excellent as always from these guys, loaded with tropical and dank hops, without looking like swamp water. Awesome stuff, cheers all. 4.25

Amazing NEIPA as always. Flavors of huge grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, grassy, zesty, citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; very creamy, bready, grainy wheat/oats, and light hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very dank/juicy hops, with perfect wheat, oat, malt malt balance. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness, amazing soft feel. Super easy drinking. Glad to have this as a year round available beer. This is one of my top most purchased beers ever at the moment. It just doesn't get any better for the style vs availability. Every Old Nation NEIPA is better than most anything else I've had in the state. DDH is just as impressive; but a bit more bitter, resinous, dank, and earthy.

Slept in this morning after another cleanse day yesterday...now back from long walk with the dogs...”Big Bad Baptista”, Release #18:

After TBBW I was going to swear off drinking cinnamon flavored stouts, but this beer is so well balanced, melding cinnamon Mexican coffee chocolate barrel and booze flavors effortlessly...will buy again if more Epic comes to SWFL...

Cheers and have a great Saturday y’all!

Did you hide the IPAs like I asked? I know my sister doesn't like it when you have me climb the roof, but still...

An offering I found a bit overpowering and “hot” fresh. Still has a mildly strong whiskey bite, with mild being the key word. Decent char, coffee, and barrel wood notes as well. More enjoyable to me after 1.5 years.

    Last bottle of this.

Wanted to save it for Easter, but have in-laws coming for dinner so I'll stick to the hard liquor instead

One of best BA Russian imperial stouts I've ever had.
