$8 for a bomber of willitized was one hell of a deal dude. I skipped on the christmas gift packs but when it came out in solo bombers i jumped at the deal.

There might be scarce in certain areas of the country, but it was always readily available here and in St. Louis.

Oh I would've done that, I never saw them outside of the pack. Same deal with that Dragon's Milk S'mores. I would've bought a bunch of those if they had ditched the glasses.

It used to be a $12 sixer though.

Yeah, I'm not criticizing their pricing, I just typically don't want a full bomber (nowadays for calorie reasons more than abv ones). 12-16 oz at a time was perfect for me, and have 6 services is awesome.

Maine Dinner made it to a few places in Chicago on draft a few months ago and it was amazing. The beer I'd most compare that one to is Columbus Brewing's Bodhi.

I think the first time I had King Sue was 2016, and I remember thinking it was kind of like Focal Banger. It had some haze, but not what you'd call a NE IPA today. I could see the above with dinner as well.

Interesting that out of the 4 beers mentioned, I think only King Sue has really changed up it's profile over the past 2-3 years.

If it reminded you of FC, I'm sad it changed. Focal is probably the one beer we can't get here that I really regret.

Maine's Lunch didn't do anything for me, so I've never looked for Dinner. I guess I should give it a shot, though.

This beer is fantastic. I have a few good OH guys I trade with. I always encourage them to find me some of this when a box is coming my way.

Dinner is much better than lunch. Lunch is good, but agree it doesn't stand out and at the price point it just makes no sense.

Couldn't agree more with you guys on Bodhi. CBC in general is great from the 5 or so beers I've had.

Has anyone tried Hailstorms Tennis Sweater yet?

I had it last night and It’s a great beer imo. I went back and bought another 4 pack today it’s better than Stratus when they have it dialed in. It’s got a nice grapey qualities to it. Smooth no real bitterness a really well executed hazy imo. Where I usually like that hop bite at the end this one didn’t have that but it had this smooth sweet finish I really enjoyed.

I will admit I’m a mark for the Nelson hop and this beer sings with it.

I also had their keyboard necktie tonight and was meh about it. It’s decent but wouldn’t feel a need to revisit.

It's not hazy, but I know some of you are big Waldo's fans and it just dropped at Open Bottle.

Has anyone seen M-43 recently at Binny's or other packies? Been having a craving for it with the warmer weather and haven't had any luck in the past month when I visited AH Binny's.

Did Old Nation pause or get stingy with distro to Chicago? When they first jumped into Chicago it was an easy find.
