Apparently they are completey sold out..

Mixed Daisy 4pks are sold out at both breweries but we’re pouring pints and hanging out. You can also find the beers on draft tomorrow at places listed at the link in our profile. Thank you!

That's a huge bummer for me.

Unfortunately probably in large part to peeps who would never pick up a 4pack of regular daisy, but got these for the great taste of rare

What's the verdict on them from anyone who has tried them?

    Pretty good.

Smoking Daisy really surprised me - I liked it a lot. Won’t set the world on fire, but very balanced and clean with an enjoyable flavor profile.

FSGDDC I expected to be blown away by. Given that, I thought it was fine. Didn’t really pop. I’d like to try it again on a fresh palate.

Quad was good - but very sweet and thick! I thought it was intense and extremely flavorful, but I could only drink a couple ounces. I think you can get a 20oz pour of it, which seems.... silly.

I saw a ton of people walking out with cases, I don't think there was a limit. I feel like most of HA's recent small batch stuff has been selling out super quickly.

Wasn't aware of the event but stopped by Lincoln for lunch today. Thought the Fully Saturated was really well done, very enjoyable.

Yeah, I'm excited for this one. That can art is amazing, too; it's evocative of the art on Pipeworks's lager cans, which I'm a huge fan of.

They mention keeping Vallejo at 6 months intervals. Were reports of its death greatly exaggerated?

Good for HA on that price point.

That's really disappointing to hear. I truly don't understand why breweries have such strange limits sometimes, especially when it's a small run and they can guess people will want to buy it out.

"The beer itself is classic Half Acre: A 7% ABV IPA that walks the line between hazy and clean, tropical and bitter. Magliaro sees it as the dividing line between West Coast sharpness and fully opaque, Instagram-model orange-juice boss pours, “without going down the massive hop loads that you’d find in some of the hazy IPAs … it’s definitely that midway point.” "

Well, that sounds just about perfect to me. $10 for 4 cans of a semi-hazy HA beer? I was excited when they announced it, and I'm even more excited now. Looking forward to Friday.

I will have to check out Bodem at the taproom on my day off on Friday. This is a really intriguing beer, and it's even more intriguing to me that they are committing year round status to something that hasn't even been released experimentally in the taproom (I think).

I’m sure there’s been tons of R&D. Think about how many IPAs half acre has released in the last 18 months. I’m sure all that brewing is considered research for their team.

I'm aware they probably do R&D and am very familiar with all IPAs they've been putting out, as my waistline can attest to.

I was referencing that it is a bold move to commit full year round status to a specific beer that hasn't been tasted by any consumers (at least that I know of, unless they released it under another name or did some private trials with it). I'm not saying anything negative about the beer, just that it seems bold, and they must have a high level of confidence in this beer (which probably means it's pretty good, and is even more reason to try it).

I felt the same as you as soon as I heard it was going to be year-round. They clearly think they have a winner on their hands, if they're willing to pull back the likes of Navaja, Vallejo, etc., but this one gets year-round status sight-unseen.

Outside of the actual taste, it sounds pretty killer. "The most dry-hopping we could do while maintaining that price point" has a nice ring to it.

Is it though? If it isn't moving they can always pull the plug. They can also shift slow sales into areas that don't typically see HA distro.

Yes, versus doing some smaller batches as draft only in their taprooms? That's a much lower risk move, and would then give feedback to them on how customers like it. If sales are slow in one area, there probably isn't a ton of evidence that it will sell that well in other areas.

Just to be clear, I am in no way saying HA is "wrong" or that this beer will not be good...it just seems like a bold move.
