Whats the best December beers to get that I can't get any other time of year. It always seems that after the season I hear about beers I should have had. This year I'd like to have a list. I guess you could say a Christmas list.

I don't know what part of the country you are in, but I am in Texas and my favorites are Alaskan Winter and Saint Arnold's Christmas

I'm really partial to Mad Elf. Fortunately I'll be in Ohio in a few weeks and should be able to get my hands on some. Hopefully I'll find some Frosted Frog and 12 Dogs of Christmas too.

We did a blind tasting with a bunch of standard Christmas beers last year. Frosted Frog came in second behind Jubelale. Bells, GI and Great Lakes all finished well down the list.

    Edit: love Scaldis Noel!

Winter warmers always come to mind in december. 21st amendment fireside chat is one I look forward to around this time of year despite it's low ba score.

It's also pretty much stout season. Fucking awesome.

Maybe not the best but SN Celebration is worth a try.

Ugh, too many to choose. I'd say for widely available I'd have to go with Sam Adam's Holiday Porter, Old Fezziwig and Sierra Nevada Celebration, or even Anchor Christmas, I always look forward to seeing them on the shelves.

I'm sure I'm passing over a bunch though, but I do always look forward to these in December.

Great Lakes Blackout Stout is usually the one I look forward to the most. It used to be a spring release, but they started releasing it in Nov-Dec last year. I drink it up quick because I personally think it's best fresh and doesn't age as well as most stouts..

Abrasive and Abyss are 2 beers that I enjoy every December. I know Abrasive runs into February or so, but I just associate it with December.

Nothing beats Anchors OSA for tasting like drinking a christmas tree. They cornered the pine/spruce hop market.

The only seasonal beer that I actively go after every year is Anchor OSA.

so many have been named, except (unless I missed it)
    Lebleu
    Brute
    Cascade Blueberry
these beers are my wife's favorites, allows me to get the beers I enjoy much easier (and quieter)

I see a lot of people posting beers that seem to only be available for a month. Is that considered a seasonal? I was thinking of things that tend to be available for 3-6 months as a seasonal. I'm just curious.
