It hit NorCal this week as well. Had it on draft on Wednesday, and holy damn is it tasty.

City Beer Store tapped it on Tuesday, and I'm pretty sure Toronado tapped a keg Wednesday evening.

Yeah and I just noticed Beer Rev was on the 10th too. The South bay is just always in slow mode for some reason. Grrr..

I can confirm it's on at Toronado. $5 for 6 oz. it's good, but less layered than some other vintages.

Yep it was great, still really hot though.

I didn't find it to be very hot at all, personally. I think it's better fresh than the last few anniversary beers have been as well.

Interesting, you're the only person I've heard that felt this that tried it on Tuesday. I know XV was fantastic fresh, supposed to be decent now, but its projected to be better in another yr or two. I have two bottles left, debating on when to open them. One will be saved for next year for sure.

Hey Brother- why is it illegal to back into a parking space in Oceanside? Cost me $112. Ridiculous.

I agree. Very good, but not what it has been built up to be. I think I liked 14 better. I certainly like Double DBA better. So delicious...

I paid $25.90 for it AT Firestone in Buellton the day it released. So, from that perspective, you got a deal. :-)

you must have been near downtown or the beach; the ticket officers are of the hardcore, ex-military variety and they are ON IT.

I was right around the corner from Stone, filling my growlers. I'm a big supporter of the military and the police, but all I did was back into the space (making it WAY easier/safer to leave the space).
Oh well- I always say it's easy to be pleasant when things go your way; it's how you behave when things go against you that defines who you really are. So I'll pay the $112 and keep smiling, lol...
