Had this one a while ago. Really impressed me, was very smooth drinking, plenty of balanced bourbon and coffee elements, while still retaining a malty backbone. Was definitely punching above its weight class for only $8.99 a bomber.

While I understand your disappoint with Willetized in 22oz format only, I disagree in bashing Lagunitas more broadly. I have two six packs in my fridge of Waldo and Undercover. Both excellent beers at great price points.

When High Westified was in six packs, I was totally in shock. Amazing beer for the price.

As far as high ABV during a weekend night, I still have them occasionally on Wednesday's depending on how the week is going...

I agree that this year is weaker from a year ago, high Westfield was ever better (I have had all 3 in the past few weeks). I think their overall quality has gone down in the year or so. The 2019 Waldo's is another example.

Also, and perhaps most sadly, Born Yesterday.

Still all of them great beers, and among the best deals in beer overall. But there's a sad, slow trend downward...

Did I read that right? He’s triggered because you want a good deal? (Adam Smith better watch his back.)

Yield is always an issue with BA beer. Wonder if it applies here also.

Then they gotta make up the cost too. I dont know.
