Stopped into NEBCO recently...had a fresh GBot and thought to myself, “oh yeah, I remember why this was a thing.” It was solid...sometimes it’s good to change things up.

 

This most recent batch is particularly excellent. I don't know why people doubt NEBCO. Picked up some Double Fuzzy and Dose as well, and those were both amazing. I think they've pulled ahead of CW for my favorite brewery in CT.

 

Had some Ganja Bot last week. Great variant of an already great beer.

 

Dose is awesome. Can't think of a much better citra/galaxy beer

 

I haven't seen a lot of doubting of NEBCO... at least around here. All I see is (well deserved) love. But I would like to see more of their beers hit distro. And when G-bot does, it's ridiculously priced for a 4 pack of 12 ozers. The Hag on the other hand is one of craft beers best bargains.

I do have to say I find it amusing seeing people asking for more distribution of NEBCO and Tree House when for years it seemed like the predominant complaint in NEBCO threads here was that they weren't enough like Tree House and should just sell all their cans at the brewery and tell the distributors and package stores to drop dead. Which isn't to say there weren't good reasons for that change in opinion; I just find it funny.

 

My local said they were only getting a case. At the brewery I used to buy it by the case .

But I imagine itll be more available as time goes by. What im more curious about is the price point. Wonder how close to the original $12 its gonna be...

 

My guess is $10.99-11.99.

 

Anybody have a distro list? Recs for picking it up in New Haven area? Thx.

 

I was shocked but I got it for $9.99 in Fairfield County ... and boy is it a good batch!

I’ve seen it at that price at both Anconas in Ridgefield and at Cost Less in Stamford. Still can’t believe the Fairfield County price was not goosed up. No complaints.
