More Brewing Co (2019)

Just had the Arketype Coconut at Smells Like A Beet Fest. Sweet, candied toasted coconut. Overall fairly impressed.

 

Great flavor, off-putting vegetal weird nose though for me and my group.

 

Wondering what Shaun said in this podcast that "MoRe" references?

Not enough to listen to said podcast.

 

Can anyone share the gist of it for those of us without Facebook?

Tldr (or tldl) from my memory is that Shaun said he was sad/disappointed to leave n barrels at More. Looks like they are doing something with said barrels now. He worked for More and they're not his in an sense. It's really just the one person who is being a jackass.

Very true. But in this case I enjoy the pettiness because it was such a dumb comment.

 

Both sides appear to be acting a little petty.

It’s kind of funny, I feel like pointing out to MoRE that their replacement for Shaun (Eric) was on the Beer Temple podcast one week after he was hired.

There's chatter about some of these being collaborations with other sought-after breweries, but I'm not interested enough to look all that up.

 

Pretty sure it was Bottle Logic, Voodoo and Weldwerks. Less sure on the last one and it was 2nd hand info.

did anyone get confirmation the Shaun post in Phase Three defending himself was actually Shaun? seems odd its a different account than what hes used previously, and I wouldnt put it past someone to create a fake account to stir the pot.

 

Pretty sure it was him. I asked him how it felt at Mikerphones fest over the weekend and he laughed about it.

It was. That was the episode Mike was on too right? Where he was saying at the end (paraphrasing) that he had a bit of an epiphany type moment during the show where he realized he's making beer that doesn't taste like beer anymore & that it didn't make him feel that the best about how he's approaching the market.
