CBC Newton got them yesterday.

 

I went into a Total Wine for the first time a few months ago and was floored by this. I had heard good things about Total Wine's prices but didn't know about this.

I mean really? All that space in the giant store and you can't get more fridges for your craft beer?

 

Julio's Liquors in Westboro has it in stock.

 

Julio’s ends up being a 40-50 minute round trip but good to know.

Redstone Liquors in Stoneham got it today, so others are probably following soon.

 

Don't know if it's near you, but the Wegman's in Natick had it the other night.

 

Ball Square Liquors in Somerville had it, not sure if they still do.

I know because I bought it there, and it's fucking awesome.

Yeah? I was kind of disappointed by it to be honest. Perfectly good saison, but I don't know that I liked it more than Dupont or Allagash's standard Saison. That's a high bar, of course.

Best saison I've had recently was the new batch of Kent Falls Equinox, now in 16oz four packs.

 

Yeah, I loved it. I honestly don't think I've ever had Allagash's regular Saison, and I definitely haven't had the Kent Falls.

It's been FOREVER since I've had Dupont I think. Sounds like I need to buy some Saisons.

 

The Allagash saison doesn't get a lot of praise or attention, to the point where I'm kinda surprised it's still around, but I've always enjoyed it.

The Kent Falls is roughly along the lines of Mystic Table Beer, with a little more depth and complexity of flavors, yet maybe even more refreshing/drinkable at the same time. It's the kind of beer where I feel the tension between wanting to savor it, and wanting to take that next sip.

Three bottles of 3F A&G still kicking around at Ball Square Liquors for $35. And they are still running a sale w 20% off almost all of their single-format beers. (The 3F is, unfortunately, not included.)

 

Has anyone seen Double, or Triple Sunshine from Lawson's anywhere around. Headed to Greensboro, VT. I'm coming up 93/91 and the brewery is about an hour detour. Was hoping to not have to detour and grab some along the way if possible. St. Johnsbury, or Lydonville area's maybe.

 

Is there any place that The Standard is lurking around?
