So, what’s the best value section at Yankee Stadium IYO? Ticket $ intimidates.

    Coors Field in Denver.

Too many options available, especially if you are open to walking a little. Falling Rock Taphouse is 1/2 a block from the stadium and will always get my nostalgia vote. If I want to do a brewery, I would happily walk a few blocks to hit up Bierstadt Lagerhaus.

Another easy one. I should have made an exemption list of too easy cities. Denver right up there with San Diego.

Pic from college buddies Denver weed trip October 2017. 80 degrees on Saturday. Snow storm Sunday night.

Our rental was on that roof! Above Ballpark Dispensary. $18 for 3 joints.

Star Bar is one of those never would expect but really solid beer bars.

Fuck man i wish i could afford the gas to drive to detroit. Does it still suck?
Hey what do you expect it's Wisconsin and the team is called the brewers. Fuck man I want a Polish. Is that one of the sausages they sell there? It's been so long.

I want to drive up there and stop at a place called the Highbury. Just looks like a cool place because the ex gm of the Fire always hangs out there and they'll blend pbr and shlitz for you. Though not exactly a craft place.

I misspoke when I said Corktown, it's the Midtown neighborhood, but about the same distance I think. (I'm not from the Detroit area, just an occasional visitor who struggles with getting around when there.) I have only driven past JP's pizza restaurant there, and parking was scarce everywhere nearby so I went elsewhere. But it would seem that it's 6 of one and half-dozen of another in answer to your question about parking/Lyft. Take your pick.

If you happen to be driving to/from Detroit to/from a ballgame in Chicago or Cleveland, you can consider visiting JP's main location in Dexter or the one in Ann Arbor. Both are just 4-5 miles off I-94 (and 7-8 miles from each other). If you're driving from Detroit to Cleveland, it would be a slight detour from Detroit to get to Ann Arbor/Dexter, but you have US-23 as a direct route to get you back toward Cleveland. (I think I-75 just south of downtown Detroit and the obvious route to/from Cleveland might still be under reconstruction, so missing a traffic jam might be a good thing.)

They're trying awfully hard to overcome their problems, and a lot has happened in recent years, but there are still scars. There are many new things to see and do in downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods. As I said above, I'm not a resident of the area, just an occasional visitor, so my input is based on surface knowledge. (And speaking of that, I do wish they'd hurry and resurface the downtown streets.)

Angel Stadium only has Noble Aleworks, Karl Strauss, and Golden Road in it's immediate walking vicinity. imo you're better off going to any other of the surrounding breweries (Green cheek, The Bruery, Bottle Logic, even Bootleggers, etc.) and taking a cab to the game.

If you're going alone or with a buddy, the bleachers or the extreme grandstands. If you're taking the family.... good luck. And take two wallets. Especially if you pay for parking, as well.

Which local brewers do you look for at these places? New Glarus still big?

At Miller Park I usually have Milwaukee Brewing and 3rd Space Brewing beers. New Glarus is available.

I love sitting around section 420, upper level right behind the plate. Sure for the Red Sox or maybe a Saturday night game it may be expensive, but for this week’s series against the Mariners tickets there are around $10.

Eagle Park, Third Space and City Lights are all breweries. You can also throw in Good City, Lakefront, Vennture, 1840 and MBC (Milwaukee Brewing Company).

City Lights has a bus to Miller Park so you could park there and walk to Third Space. It's maybe a 10 minute walk.

23 ballparks down, and some I've hit multiple times. This year its back to Nationals Park (definitely hit up Bluejacket before the game), and in September doing a first visit to a Texas Rangers game.

They actually do have a pretty decent craft selection. Better than I expected the first time I went.

Yeah, really hard to top Denver.

Agreed, solid food and great taps. To-go options have been great too a couple times, spendy but quality.
