Thanks gents. Open Bottle came through for me! They had a pretty small amount about an hour ago. Bonus of Ghost Tropic too.

B1 of GB was fantastic. Pretty foul since then. Double Grid is the best beer they make.

I succumbed to Double Grid today under the excuse that I’m sending some as part of a beer care package to a buddy in CA. Had a can tonight and really enjoyed it. Probably the best non milkshake IPA I’ve had from them...outside of the infamous Galaxy Bowl b1 (which probably sounds like urban legend to some).

I never realized how fast the dry hopping fades until trying Neon Green Relish twice this weekend. I got zero coconut this time around... was on Saturday and was really surprised. Only had shaker glasses so though maybe it was cause of the glassware.

Tried it again Sunday with snifter glasses and it was the same deal. So about a week after and basically all the coconut goodness has dissipated for me.

I know I'm not telling anyone anything they don't know, but I know now to drink it ASAP.

Ya it changes within two weeks. Not in a bad way, but all those unique flavor notes that were really distinct when fresh kind of disappear and it all blends into a homogenized juice flavor.

I actually thought about that while packing up the beer last night, but I did the right thing and still included a can. I have too much beer, so getting rid of a can actually helps me out.

I'm old, so have already forgotten everything I have put in there, but Double Grid, Your Wish Is Granted, Bodem, Galactic Double Daisy Cutter, Classic Future, Poetic Hustler, Pineapple Guppy. Also threw in a couple recent Other Half cans that someone was kindly able to procure for me. There was one other can that I can't recall.

well damn, i always wait a few weeks before cracking HB and it's universally tasted better for my palette. oh well, they still hold up very well in general, even months after purchase.

:thinking_face:I don't recall getting any coconut ever on Neon Green Relish. That is probably one of my favorite HB beers that I've had, too.

According to their website looks like another batch of BOM this week as well. Along with Phase 3 release this is shaping up to be the week of milkshakes or lactose!

I realize there are other people involved, but to simplify...it's the student (Justin) vs the teacher (Shaun) in the battle of which orange/vanilla milkshake IPA will reign supreme!

I seriously can't believe I just typed that, haha

NDT is surprisingly a tad bitter and lacks the creaminess that BO has. Not their best effort
