I can't imagine why they wouldn't. What argument woudl people have that bought it before the stated sale time? How in the world do they make a case for a system glitch selling it to them early?

As you said, it just encourages people now to scam their way to more bottles

@justinathompson it was a screw up on our part and were still releasing the same amount plus the ones that got through.

just how many extra bottles do they usually hold back for "unforeseen" fuck ups?

 

Was able to pick twice but booted me when I clicked the checkout button, on to the next one

 

I got through to choosing my collection day, and then when I did it said sold out that day and refreshed to show me only one of the days was available to collect, so i clicked that and... sold out. How was the bottle not reserved for me in a cart by that stage? Poor show. But at least with brewer Sean leaving, this is the last time I'll be chasing More.

 

I’m not defending it as I think the sales should have been invalidated, but perhaps there are some Eventbrite fees involved that they didn’t want to eat?

Honestly, the thing that bugs me more is how eventbrite never actually goes on sale right when it's noon.

I don't know enough about web development to say for sure, maybe it actually makes sense, but it confounds me.

They don't hold back for fuck ups. They just don't sell 100% of what they bottle to the public. I'm pretty certain they still have bottles of every Henna somewhere on site. More gave my brother a BA Karma months after they "sold out" of it.

Until it “opened” but Henna sales had already opened early... I’d imagine Mehndi sales were open at that point as well...
