It's ok not to know how to brew neipa... Not every brewery has brew one... Shock us with another style of beer.. Had duvel yesterday followed by a unibrou la fin du and both were spectacular.. Why isn't anyone brewing more of these styles? Brewers need to know by now what we expect from neipa.. And if they can't deliver they should move on to something else

Agreed. This is why I am so glad I started homebrewing. I can brew all the lagers and pilsners I want and not have to worry about the shelves being filled solely with hype beers.

Bourbon Paradise by Prairie Artisan Ales. For sure an improvement on a solid standard. The coconut was perfectly placed on the palate. Most surprising was how unusually smooth and drinkable it was for a ~16% Stout. Damn good, but drink with caution!

Sure thing. I usually brew more than I can (safely) consume on my own.

My buddy Darren ( @connecticutpoet ) sent me an unsolicited box of Night Shift. Always surprising me like that. Thinking I'm gonna have to repay  I'm enjoying one of those now :

Very tasty - fruity esters in both the nose and tongue, with hay, straw, pine, bread dough, and apples. Really crisp and smooth lager. Underrated here on BA, IMO. 4 out of 5 from me, screw da haters!!

I went against my better judgement by starting with an Ephraim before having a Pilsner, it made little difference as Palantine holds it own. They're both magical.

A fantastic collaboration by Wylam from the UK and Other Half from the USA. This just has a great balance of sweet and juicy as well as somewhat zesty and acidic tropical/citrus notes going on, topped off by a light dankness and noticeable bitterness with a light, pleasant hop bite.
