I was skeptical as well. I ended up being let down by Prop because it lacked the orange MO had.

It looks like Reserve might still be on at BP? I'd check it out if that's the case. And 2014 BCBBW is still on as well, I think; the taplist last night was pretty impressive.

Was excited this weekend when I saw Honker's Ale 12 packs listed on sale with other GI varieties for $12.99 at my produce store (Caputo's Fresh Markets). Went to the store and they had none, likely a misprint but took a rain check in case the distributor will drop their remaining stash with their delivery later today, will report back if any are delivered.

Glad Goose Island is committed to continuing to brew locally, and I can grab a draft pour on Clybourn or Honkers to go at Fulton.

As far as I know Honker's hasn't been brewed for distro in nearly a year.

Anyone else planning to hit up the Obadiah release tonight at the taproom? I'm planning to head over once the kids are in bed. Cant miss a chance to hear @patto1ro speak.

If people wanted to drink what people drank in 1840s then they would still be drinking it today.

My brother was surprised to see it on draft at a Saint Louis Blues game this winter. Will try to stop into fulton for to go bottles, glad GI is committed to continue brewing locally per the article linked.

There were getting on for 100 people on Monday night who were more than happy to drink it.

Prop '13 is my all-time favorite beer, the only thing keeping me from this event is 1) the shitshow potential and 2) the decent possibility of the coconut having completely faded. Somebody else go there and gulp it all for me, though.

There are plenty of people here, but they are generally well behaved. The coconut in my Prop 13 was not prominent, however.

    Yeah

Prop 13 kicked 25 minutes in. Would’ve kicked faster but very hard to even order.

    Cherry rye tasted very nice.

I love how that draft list wasn't good enough for the first poster. I mean, I love barleywine too, but seriously people.

They also have 4 packs of old 12oz bottles to go. Pricey.

Sorry, I didn’t take pictures. I think 50, 60, 70 for 12, 13, 14 (irrespectively)? Also had BW and coffee. Some brohammer bought one of each.

Have had Prop 13 on tap twice in the last two weeks and don't think it's holding up all that well. Prop 14 on tap has been much better recently. Not sure how bottles are holding up.
Did not think there was much mayhem today and the list was stellar .
Cherry was outstanding, as well as, the double and triple barrel .

The 2013 vintage of both stout and, especially, BW are phenomenal. Surprisingly, those prices might actually be bargains.
