    I usually finish the night with a beer like this, but I just needed a little pick me up after a fairly busy day at work. Canned Wednesday (2 days ago!). A real nice stout from Braintree, VT.

    Canned 05/08/19
    Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch tan head over a near black body with some nice lacing. Nose of faint chocolate and faint coffee, but as it warms the aromas come forward and smell rating goes up .50. I get milk chocolate on the nose with a fine coffee aroma as well. Taste mirrors nose now exhibiting flavors of bitter chocolate and a very nice coffee from Carrier Roasting from Northfield, Vermont. Nice bitter chocolate, coffee, and hops on the finish. Nice feel and overall, a very smooth and pleasant experience in a 7.0% stout. Cheers!
