Would Michter's Barrel Strength go 1:1 with BA Coconut Vibes?

 

Do you mean the Barrel Strength Rye that was recently released? If so I’d say no. I had several opportunities to buy that at MSRP; much easier for me to get than would I’d expect I’d need in ammo for a BA Coco Vibes. Hard to compare ratios because the $4$ is so different but I think you’d need to start with a rarer bottle of bourbon.

 

Thanks for the info. I saw a bottle at my local shop and didn't know how easy to find they were, since he marks up his bottles above MSRP.

 

My opinion is cocomac is higher by a becent amount... not totally up on it though.... and I don’t have one so no horse in the race

Id like to know about your experience with maman compared to your modern times beers. After some of the recent chaos grid beers im having less and less desire to trade any of their bourbon adjuncted beers.

 

would gunmetal bake kujira be enough to land bbtb2, ba cocovibes, and a (tete, maman, or cocovibes b2)? 3:1 or would I be reaching?
I’d round out the box with nice extras either way

 

Oh my god. As much as I get triggert over the ridiculous trade value of BBT and BA Coco, fuck that. Nothing by J Wake is worth all that. Not even a shiny label.

 

Haven't popped it yet, but I can't imagine it blows the doors off what modern times has been putting out this year.

 

No it's value is not that high.

I could be totally wrong but it seems like gm bake could had with a BBT b2 +

How many Transients per my FT's is reasonable?

 

Was looking to trade for aphelion for my ba henna karma. Is this trading 1:1 or does aphelion need to add? I was thinking 2:1 for my karma with something as big,almost, as the aphelion? Thanks

I'm thinking they're pretty close to 1:1.

 

Thanks for the legit feedback. I have a long list of stl beers I want to try and it seems “trading down” is the only way to get a couple. Guess I’ll have to add if I want all of the ones mention in my previous post

 

You'd probably need to package bake and some of the 750ml WakeFest bottles (rock, iwaad, label us, etc) to get all that you seek

 

Speaking from someone going....I would do 1:1 probably on the Angry Chair. Maybe a small plus on the Transient Side. OWA I cant' speak on since I don't dabble in bourbon.

Yeah, the bottle. I have regional bias towards these Transient bottles though. I thought the BA variants last year were some of the best bottles I cracked all year.
