Thank you for the condolences, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local purveyor of fine Belgian imports!

Trader Joe's 2012 is solid, essentially a spiced Trois Pistoles, and everything good along those lines. At the price point ($4.99 locally in Boston) it may be one of the best values available in the halls of beerdom. A very, very, good beer.

I haven't had this in awhile.
    I great beer.

Deciding whether I should have another Celebration or open up a Storm King next.

Good to hear, Trois Pistoles is my favorite offering from Unibroue. I eyed the Vintage last week in the store, but couldn't pull the trigger since we just left my beer shop where I dropped some good coin. You pick your battles.

I was thinking the same thing. Celebration is the beer of the night.

Have you had La Terrible? If not, find it and treat yourself, IMO it's Unibroues "Magnum Opus".

Twilight of the Idols for me. Really, really good. I think I prefer this to Everett.

    NICE!

Celebrating a Notre Dame win (so get ready for "GO IRISH! BEAT TROJANS!" in about a week from now), and anxiously watching Oregon-Stanford and KSU-Baylor to see what's going to happen to Irish chances for a BCS championship game this year . . . but not before USC. As someone who witnessed the Bush Push first-hand, I will never, ever take that for granted.

But I digress . . . I've been enjoying a bottle of Sierra Nevada's Narwhal, and holy nut-balls this shit is good. Like, really good. Apparently, when Sierra Nevada wants to do a good job with something, they can really hit it out of the park. Good job, fellas.
