Love the edge of the tents! It is chaos inside the tents at times but crazy shares happening in there. I tend to roam with a buddy with a bottle or 3 and join other shares/groups and meet people. Jump in the center of the tents and enjoy, then take a break to get food, water, rejoin my group, hit the taps and then repeat. Starting to get excited and have a bunch of Treehouse cans that I plan of bringing to share. Also this one time... at DLD inside the tent they blasted hip hop music!!

 

Where and when will the dance-off be. Need to make a fool...perhaps remove shirt. As an aside @Quilentro I saw a video of a Russian train ticket booth that gave you a ticket if you did 30 squats...seems like thats what you've been training for.

 

i can't wait to smoke like 50 cigars

I'm really hoping I don't get anything in the 11-13 range. Anything else I"d be OK with. I'm getting my son's allotment, so I've got a couple shots at something I'm confident I'd like.

 

Oh, i won't actually be smoking them. All the second hand smoke will be like i just smoked 50.

 

Hit me up if you get a Lounge! Just drank my 2018 last night, absolutely delicious and so easy drinking for a DL, and adding bourbon barrel only sounds even better to me.

 

A lot of people thought Lounge was the sleeper hit last year. If you get one, I guarantee you can trade it for something you want at the fest.

 

Took one back to the city 2 years ago, and it was around $100 I believe. Split 3 ways, I was totally ok with that.

 

Late to the party as usual. My mind is still blown that there is a variant list that isn't like 50/50 garbage with the constant fear of getting something terrible racing through my mind until I am handed a bag. I don't want that Reptile whatever the hell, but otherwise- damn guys- looking good!

Has anyone seen any good guest tappings yet?

 

I'm stoked, all of the variants I really don't want (coconut ones) will be no problem to swap for something I do want. I mean, I'd still prefer not to get reptilefund but even that's likely fine since the tequila barrels worked well for lounge last year.

 

all tequilas are mezcal, not all mezcal is tequila.

 

If you enjoy CTM you'll 100 percent enjoy Lounge.

 

I've seen that said before, but that doesn't make sense to me. Every mezcal I've ever ordered was smoky (in a much more enjoyable way than Scotch), and considered a type of tequila. But I've never had a smoky liquor labeled as just plain tequila.

 

El Duende and Fundamental Theorem from Bottle Logic was mentioned in their IG comments recently.

 

Yeah, I'm aware that tequila technically could be considered mezcal in the way that all scotch is whiskey but not vice versa, but much like scotch, they don't typically taste the same. Every mezcal I've ever ordered (which isn't many to be fair) has tasted like dirt.
