    I just tried Hook for the first time. Really enjoying it. Perfect beer for a day spent drinking.

    Got my second 4 pack yesterday. This and Hoppun both nice but different pale ales.

    I'm on my 4th four pack. Hook is tremendous. This will be in my permanent rotation with Boat, Our Town (when I can get to the Highlands) and (once summer hits) Beach.

    Just throwing out there that planning jersey is super solid and have seen nothing posted about it on the medias. Awesome job Augie et al. I love it.

    grabbed some Hook yesterday and it's definitely living up to the hype in this thread - it's a very solid beer.

    there's apparently a O.W,C. Instagram (and I guess FB) page now... its a riff on Plan Bee's barn beer, by Carton with assistance from Evan from Plan Bee. Even helped cultivate a yeast from some beehive honeycomb from a property near Carton, and it uses all localish malts from NJ.

    They are at the brewery for $31 for 3 bottles, it looks like you have to buy the 3-pack. I don't understand the packaging when all other bottles you can buy 1 at a time.

    are they in a commemorative box? I would think that would be to drink them over time possible to see how they evolve?

    @augiecarton any insight?

    i would assume this to be the case especially as only one of the three bottles is wax sealed. That being said it is my favorite carton beer i have had in years. Wife and i each got a three pack. I doubt distro as the tasting room staff said it was an extremely small batch and were worried about running out last friday.

    I definitely need to get some Planning Jersey. I love Barn Beer and I've heard Augie talk about how excited he was about the yeast they pulled from the beehive, so I expect good things.

    i am just terrible at embedding photos on this but if someone can grab the image of the box and throw it on here you will see the bottles are marked "drink, share, hold" the hold bottle is waxed for the purpose.
    this is the OWC packaging we have finally got around to having made.. it's something i have always wanted to do but was not "ASAP" on the "things to do" list.
    when i buy beer i buy with this intention, even the most "drink now hazies" i grab a couple, 1 for contemplation, 1 for conversation, 1 for consideration down the road. when i conceive beers i do so in that context.. only a fool would try to make people enjoy things the same way they do , but my hope is this simple box encourages this approach with people that are inclined to that kind of appreciation.

    I was there on Sunday and it was already sold out. I had a taster, i liked it but i wasn't that upset that it had sold out.
