    Anyone had one lately and how is it drinking. Ive been sitting on one for a while and was thinking of cracking it open soon, just wanted to see if anyone has lately and how it was.

    Oh wow, somebody hating on an ~18% RIS for being high in alcohol and sweetness. How original.

    Anyway, to be semi helpful, it tasted great at the RS initiation party and I doubt that has changed in the past 9 months.

    Had this last weekend ... shit of the holiest varieties ..... my god was it good. I don't see how it could get better, srsly. Crack that blizzatch and enjoy entering the holiest of holies sir!

    Ideally, you'll want to get blackout drunk, then pour the last 4oz in a glass and hide it somewhere in your house.

    I've never had the 09, but the 08 was really good with a couple of years on it.

    I actually drank one about 9 days ago. All but the last 4 oz or so.

    I really don't get this last 4oz thing? was there just a huge amount of yeast in the '09 bottling?

    Hah, no. I don't wanna drag that thread into this one, so you can go hunt it down if you wanna read some funny stuff.

    To summarize, I drank two glasses of 2009 Black Tuesday on 11/10/12, but I had a bit left afterwards of which I had forgotten about after I finished my second glass. It then ended up on the lower shelf of my refrigerator door next to stuff only my girlfriend uses (salad dressing, etc). The bottle was rediscovered on 11/15/12 with three or four ounces left in it. Unfortunately, it was past its prime.

    Tried an '09-'11 vertical at DLD this year. I'm a fan of BT of any vintage already, but the '09 was amazing. Now is definitely not a bad time to drink it.
