Aren't there still bottles of Lonely Traffic Light and Bizoot? Those are fantastic.

 

So with you on this one, some of Monkish's best beers never see the inside of a can and their glass is cheap, my God, Moves In Silence is one of the best beers they have brewed this year IMHO. The majority of my Monkish consumption is from the tap.

They won’t let you order two beers at a time?

 

Yeah, I'm curious too. When did they change that? I'm trying to recall if last time I went and ordered for myself if it was two half pours or two fulls.

 

My last visit roughly a month or 2 ago I was able to get 2 half pours (tasters?). That'd be a real bummer if it was only 1 pour at a time.

I kid. That does make sense though, regarding when it was implemented. Though, I'm rarely at anywhere but the little bar corner, and always in tow with my girl, so I guess...I haven't had a reason to do more than 1 pour at a time in a long while...?

Speaking of the pre-pre. Man, when I was picking up Jeteaux, I was green with envy when the GF saw the PP bottles.

I'll help appease you. It was me. I told someone I didn't like Shadowboxing (which I don't). The fight was quick, our neckbeards got entangled and we kind of swung right into each other and knocked each other out.

There may have been kissing.

As you can see, it was an old head, possibly OTB, since everyone knows new money doesn't Belgian.

 

I think the two full pours also depends on if you're with anybody. When I go with my wife, I'm able to get two full pours (without her being in line)

Has any chicanery been going on with latest Monkish releases? They sold 168 cases in an hour today?

I remember a week or two ago one of their releases had 20 cases left and no one in line and sold out 5 minutes later...

I think Modern Time makes better hazies and have stopped bothering with them; is the hype really still that high here?

 

I'm also really surprised with how quickly this one sold out. Saw the release and planned to leave after my last work call at 1:30pm. Sold out already.

Felt abnormally fast but I guess everyone was anticipating the drop with 2 releases pending on a Friday. I enjoy MT but hadn't had Monkish in a while, ah well maybe next time but not tomorrow which I'm assuming is another bananas release.

 

Monkish sold 130 cases of Atomically on a Friday release about 3 weeks ago and it also went in a hour or so. I think that Friday releases go very quickly as opposed to the mid-week ones.
