    Any friendly suggestions for hotels in the area, or would Air BnB be the way to go? The wife and I are just going to make a day of it and drive back to Madison Monday morning. Also, is Uber or Lyft an option for getting around town? Thanks in advance!

    I moved away in early 2000's but I suspect this info is still fairly correct.... plenty of inns along the lake (check union pier, lakeside, stevensville, grand beach), a hotel by the freeway and truck stop in sawyer and a couple options in new buffalo and st. joseph for hotels. I suspect you won't catch a car service in town or any of the surrounding area but again, I've been away awhile.

    Garden Grove B&B in New Buffalo is run by a former pro hockey player / B10 hockey coach. Jerry may even come pick you up if you need a ride

    Any luck on a hotel close by? The wife and I are making the trip up from Verona. Was hoping to locate a bottle share close by on Saturday night.

    I did not think about this being that type of event, especially with DLD being today. I’m staying in Kalamazoo and hitting up a few breweries.

    Wife went with Super 8. It’s like 10 minutes from Transient, so that works out pretty well.
