    Hi Folks,

I am in town (Austin and then Dallas) this week for Thanksgiving from Northern California. Grew up here and my brother and parents live around here, but I want some advice on what I should be drinking.

Had the ABW Black Thunder and Live Oak Hefe, he cracked a La Muerta for me and we opened (and didnt love a Divine Reserve #12)...

Any and all advice would be VERY welcome.

    Thanks,

    Adam

Drink Real Ale Coffee Porter and Live Oak Primus. Go to Draught House and Easy Tiger. Enjoy Austin. When in Dallas go to Strangeways and The Common Table. Remember how great Austin is

Find any Jester King you can on tap in Austin. Draught House usually has 1 or 2. Also bottles of Gotlandsdrika (their Viking smoked juniper beer) and Commercial Suicide (Oak-Aged English Mild Ale) are still on shelves. Das Wunderkind is still here and there, but mostly gone.

Find some Deep Ellum Wealth & Taste if you can. Also ABW usually has special beers only on tap around town (I think the current one is still Flying Headbutt, a Belgian-style IPA, but there might be a newer one).

I also concur on Real Ale Coffee Porter.

I had some Live Oak Treehugger during Austin Beer Week a few weeks back, but I'm not sure if it's gone out to regular distribution yet.
