I thought BAY was out by now last year. Anyone know any info for this year?

Waldo's is great but, it is so strong...in a good of way...2 back-to-back is basically lights out.

I think BAY should be released first and then after about 2 weeks, release Waldo's, but they did not ask me :-)

Thanks for any info on BAY!

My order history at TW Brandon says I picked up a 12 pack on May 11, 2018, price 18.99 + tx.
Agreed on Waldo's. Once a king, always a king. Once a knight is enough.

Hmm, I wonder why no BAY and now a new wet hop beer to replace it?

    Simcoe and mosaic, I’m in.

How do they keep wet hops wet?

    Enjoy

Definitely intrigued, but I’d really like to know more about the process and how it differs from what they did in BAY.

I kinda wonder if it isn't just using southern hemisphere hops? This would be the time that a fresh hop brew using hops from south of the equator would be ready. Otherwise I'd guess it's some kind of freezing (maybe freeze drying?)

Maybe sales were down and this is just a BAY rebranding, with an ever so slightly change in recipe?

When should we expect this? I see May on their website. Nothing around my Way yet and Mays almost gone.

From the Lagunitas link provided above:

“Since harvest only occurs one time a year, achieving year-round wet-hop flavor has become the Holy Grail pursuit of hoppy brewing. Our quest led us to develop a new hop liquification process which Born Again Yesterday first proved damn-near divine.”

    Cheers!

I guess liquification is wet. Not what I was expecting.

Like @Oktoberfiesta more or less said: it's more than likely a re-formulated Born Again Yesterday; that one used cryo hops.

Cryo hops are basically freeze dried if I understand the process correctly. Still does seem a little disingenuous to call your stored hops "wet hops" given the fairly tight definition that term is understood to have
Id rather they just made a wet hop ale with southern hemisphere hops personally

Seeing check ins on Untappd, not very many, 17 to be exact. Looks like it’s just at the brewery but I would expect soon.

I guess you pour liquid hops over dry hops and get wet hops?

when you put dry hops in the wort, don't they become wet hops?

I wish breweries would stop using the term 'juicy' to describe beers
