Hill Farmstead (2019)

The roads were fine last week, but we had a lot of rain this weekend. I would say its no problem.

 

My buddy got a FOFA email at 12:01pm eastern on Thursday for those who are still wondering. Good luck for the secondary sale.

 

Are people getting emails saying they didn’t get FOFA tickets?

 

Only winners of the drawing are sent emails. Not all entrants.

 

I'm guessing that if they are sent, they will come after they do the second drawing later this week.

 

Red eye into Boston tomorrow and headed straight to Greensboro. On my own. If anyone wants to split anything shoot me a PM.

My friend scored a FOFA e mail last night. I reserved the Highland Lodge a while ago. Anyone know if there will be a rideshare from the hotel? This whole DD thing makes me nervous.

 

I'd reach out to the hotel and see if they have a van service or someone who would take you. You're close enough to Hill, less than 15 minutes by car, that maybe someone would do the drop off/pickup for some cash. I'm sure they're familiar with FoFA and either do it or might know someone who would. Good luck.

to answer my own question, I've also seen Damon El Desarollo, Flora BBR, and BoT Akmel bottles on site, and Elab 3 and CD 22 on tap

 

I was there yesterday. Curious about what's available today as well so I can cry.

 

Weird stayed there last year and ended up meeting someone who was going and got A DD through them. I did see a number to call if you wanted to pay for a ride there. Don't remember a "shuttle".

Got there at 2:45. BA Enlightenment, Wunderkammer and s+s4 cans all sold out. Art, Damon El Des, Flora BBR and Works of Love:Tired Hands for On-site all sold out. Got my allotment of Vera Mae and a stomach full of Caja Madera so I'd say it was a success overall. Also, randomly walked into the tap room and Averie Swanson (Former Head Brewer of Jester King) was sharing a beer with Shaun. Small world.
