Is my beer fresh?

    And easy to read, dump the strange codes etc. Dump the arbitrary best by dates too, they’re all over the place, 6 months, 9 months, a year,15 months, not helpful at all.

    You can pretty much guarantee the best by dates on European imports will be more about allowing for shipping time than about the beer actually being at its best. 15 months seems to be fairly standard, regardless of the style or ABV.

    It certainly doesn’t do the beers any favor, but ya shipping times are what they are. It’s hard for a lot of the imports to compete with local brews, 15 day old beer vs 8- 9 month old beers. That assumes they put a best by date on it in the first place. I suppose it’s a miracle to find 4 month old Urquell, which I haven’t seen in forever.

    Pretty sure Dab has a canned on and best by date on the case.

    Still looking for Wolters dark that’s not 6 months past the best by date
