What beer are you drinking now? #2409

Made my usual monthly River's Edge visit for new beer. Coffee Kolsch on Cask. This was excellent. Aromas and flavors of nutty medium roast coffee, lemon, pear, red apple, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit malts; with lighter notes of herbal, wood, grass, peppery hops and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Light carbonation, medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Smooth/soft cask finish, 5.6%. Balanced fruity/nutty coffee, clean pale/wheat malts, earthy hops, and restrained fruity yeast. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Just as impressive as the base beer, with added coffee as expected. Spot on style example. 4

Made a beer run this morning, much to my surprise I saw that my favorite BA RIS , Drago is out and available in cans, so I bought some. I had a couple of bottles of last years so I thought WTF.
So in one corner, we have the champ, Wild Onions Drago @ 9.5 and Wild Onion Apollo, a sessionable BA Stout checking at 6.5%. Just like in the "Rocky" movies, Drago kicks butt!
