Wonderful day hiking in Maine...Now popping my first beer, Tree House Spring. This batch tastes a lot better than the first time I had this.

 

The last one sat nicely with the fire; this one pairs well with a cigar. Cheers!

 

Piney River 8th Anniversary Mule Team IPA

 

Hamm's. So my wife took over the tv for Good Girls. No cheers here just beer!

 

Probably one of the most underrated AB tunes but it's actually one of my favorite tunes by them. Love that tune!

 

Wish I knew what you were talking about but alas I do not. And I cannot even use the excuse I am wasted (yet). One dude gave me a link to a malware scan. I guess I will try it

 

Did a shit-ton of yard work today that included buying, loading, moving etc two tons of soil. I'm sore and tired. But I was smart enough to throw a couple of really nice bottles in the fridge to reward myself.
First up is from Suarez Family Brewery
Local Boy

It's a simple country beer that is so well constructed it is sublime.

 

A generous co-worker brought me back a Russian River Mind Circus, from her recent trip to visit her son who works at the brewery... A good reward after a day that saw me applying the next batch of fertilizer to the lawn, washing (and waxing) the 4Runner, rescreening two window screens, restaining a porch swing, the first trip to the pool and grilling up some teriyaki chicken on the grill... Damn, I'm just tired retyping all of that... Cheers...

The soundtrack for the day was Dispatch...

 

Incredible NEIPA. Aromas and flavors of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, watermelon, red apple, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, and light honey/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zesty, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; very creamy, silky, bready, grainy wheat/oats; and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no cloying/astringency. Amazingly smooth/soft finish, minimal warming 7%; light increasing hop burn through the glass. Feels like Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado. Extremely juicy and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Spot on stuff all around. Would get another pack.

Trailway Brewing Co.'s Sensible Nonsense Double IPA!

One of the better DIPA's I have drank in recent memory. Extremely flavourful with notes of tropical fruit and grapefruit, and extremely well balanced.

 

North Peak Diabolical IPA. Supporting local. Now listening to nascar radio. Cheers!
