So... browsing through Target last night with Little Lady, just making a "I can't believe they have their entire Christmas sections out already" comment, when I looked over and saw Samuel Smiths and Lindemans gift packs.

The Samuel Smiths each come with 3 beers + 1 brewery glass.

The Lindemans each come with 2 beers + 1 brewery glass.

    Both are $11.99.

The bottles alone in each pack would have been $15-20 at my local bottle shop, and I actually enjoy all of the beers each pack contained, so I walked out with 2 of each.

I saw that too at my local Target. I had to do a double take.

Unless Lindeman's unfruited lambics are in it, I'm gonna pass

Meh, the Kriek and Framboise are good so long as you don't really view them as beer. If I think of it as a mimosa or something else intentionally sweet I don't mind them once in a while.

I just don't care for sweet beer that much anymore. I want dat funk, son.

Lol yeah I agree, which is why I don't compare it to other beer anymore (and especially not lambic).

It's a Nonic but without the little bubble whatever that's called. We received the Samy Smiths packs at my work too so I think I will pick one up. I was already able to snag one of the glasses and some coasters out of one of the broken packs.

I checked all the ones at my Target to see if they had the same, and they all had the Pomme and the Framboise.

Oh i was talking to UCLA. Makes sense that they wouldn't put a true lambic/gueuze in there. Haha, can you imagine the return rates if they did? "Well this raspberry one was pretty good, but this yellow one went bad and turned sour"

It is a tulip pint glass. Basically a pint glass that flares out towards the top.
