I was pleasantly surprised by Silt...damn good, especially for a first canning. If they do that elusive "dialing in" thing they could be an elite player!!

Picked up some transient juice is loose the other up in Hainesville. Seeing that transient doesn't date their cans I was wondering if anybody had any feedback as to freshness or when this may have dropped. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

I can’t speak to that area but there was a Juice is Loose drop within the last week so hopefully they are indeed that fresh

Thanks for the heads up, decided to crack a can anyway. Not too bad overall just not sure it was as good as I remember. At the very least I won't have the onerous task of having to choke these down. LOL

Not sure if it's on anyone's radar, but I was genuinely surprised by how good Burnt City's Pterodactyl Deathscream was.

I never tried previous batches, but based on Untappd photos it looks like this is the first batch where they really nailed the hazy look. It's dank and a tiny bit green (which I like), the flavor is good, and the feel is really nice. I'm impressed this is just a random beer on the shelf.

Hot take: Rhythm Recipe is a better tipa than Marbles and is up there with SCM.

Picked this up a few days ago and drank it after reading your post, a very solid beer, glad I picked it up. Hazy appearance, bitterness balanced with sweetness, ABV sneaks up on you. Solid option, will look for these in the future.

There is nothing worse than a poorly executed NEIPA. Stopped by Roaring Table yesterday in Lake Zurich and tried their flutter hazy IPA. I knew I was in trouble by its appearance when I saw her pouring it. It was flat, malty and possibly oxidized? I was pretty shocked they were even serving it, it was that bad. I guess these breweries would rather push garbage beer than eat the costs of ingredients on bad batch. Not sure which is worse for business, probably the former option because I know I won't be back again for that reason.

Agree on the shout out to @bradner. This one would have totally slipped by as I rarely make it in to Binny's anymore. Excellent beer and probably the most true to form NEIPA Half Acre has done yet.

half acre is batting .500 with their hazies IMO.

the $22.22 price tag after tax is a pill I'm not willing to ingest a regular basis.

I passed on it for this reason. Already had a number of beers in the cart and another $20+ wasn't happening. Fortunately my friend didn't pass and I got to try one over the past weekend. Definitely well executed.

Best deal in local hazies no more...

Stratus seems to be going for $16.99 per 4pk now
