Another one from @2beerdogs that I shoved to the back of the fridge and forgot about. Still pretty decent even if it is 3-4 months old.

Hunter and I have been bullshitting lately, so I decided we would hang out today. Well, @benzodrums, I guess we don't have to worry about the AJ vs. Wilder bout since he got KTFO last night. Haha! Unreal, and goes to show you can't predict everything. One thing I can predict is that this beer will taste phenomenal, as always. Cheers!

I'm kicking off my evening with Cloudwater with this superb IPA that perfectly showcases why Cloudwater is not just one the best breweries in Europe but the world. I've had IPAs from Tree House, Trillium and Other Half and this can stand tall amongst them, a fantastic brew. @JamFuel

Dark, dark brown body capped with a thick and creamy head; dense. Fine blend of scents with cocoa and vanilla; a smidgen of milk chocolate; hard to describe esters. Weak milk chocolate taste; some fruity tanginess and low-key bitterness. Medium-heavy body; smooth and slick on the palate; mostly sweet mouthfeel overall.

The beer is certainly smooth and creamy overall. The flavor isn't bad, but, perhaps, a tad weak, yet still providing some nice cocoa and milk chocolate tones. Nice and approachable...

    NBS #1

Good evening NBS, hope everyone is enjoying the end of the weekend once again. Another typical weekend, got a huge new beer haul from a couple friends yesterday afternoon. Wasn't feeling very good last night, so I crashed after reviewing only 2 new beers. Some weird migraine or something. Got a nice 12 hour sleep from that anyways.

    Beer:

A little old, but should be ok. Excellent Festbier. Fantastic lasting fluffy head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big lemon, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, and light honey/nutty malts; with moderate herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery hops. Light-moderate pine, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light lingering resins through the glass. Moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringrency. Perfectly clean lager flavors, minimal fruity/yeasty notes. Very flavorful/refreshing, not watery for 5.3%. Perfectly balanced clean Pils/Munich malts, and German noble hops. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Very impressive for a pale festbier. 4.03

Another great one by Cloudwater, the balance of sweet, bitter and slightly acidic notes standing out here, as well as a great, peppery hop bite in the aftertaste.

Shame on me, I never realized this was a cover, but what a great one! @JamFuel

    NBS #2

Another first review. This was outstanding! Great fluffy head retention/spotty soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, coriander, sea salt, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; light peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tang/tartness; light zesty bitterness, and coriander spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced creamy/grainy wheat, lactic acid; light sticky spice, and salinity in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing tart/tangy/spicy dryness; zero puckering. Very flavorful/refreshing, not overly lactic/salty, not watery for 4.2%. Perfectly balanced vibrant citrus, Lacto complexity, coriander, salt, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Glad I got the 6 pack as expected. Extremely spot on stuff. 4.15

A “new” year-round IPA from Fat Head’s. I say “new” because it’s been on tap for about a month but cans just came out on Friday. This one was also canned that day.
I really like it! For those familiar with Fat Head’s, it fits squarely in between Sunshine Daydream and Head Hunter.

I call this one Swinging, Springing, Summertime Hops. Inspiration taken from the greatest (and only) BA I know from Green Bay.

You are the master of playground / swingset shots and this post should be viewed as an homage rather than a crappy copy of your art.
