I remember the IG post from last year but don't know when they put it in barrels. B1 was 16 months in barrels right?

 

16 months from when they put FFb2 in barrels is roughly July/Aug. of this year.

However, there's something kicking around in the back of my head that I heard it likely won't be released until really late this year since it needed more time in the barrels.

 

That's a relief. I'm down to a half dozen bottles of FO b4.

 

Any idea on the next Stasis Project release for this upcoming month? @bottlelogiclindsay

 

....I'm hoping for a return of Stronger than Fiction. But, contrary to other BL w/ coconut offerings, slightly less of the coconut.

 

I wanna see a contradiction beer, beer with no coconut whatsoever but imitation coconut floaties to mess with people.

 

Hahaha. That would be great. "Protein-y" would be a key characteristic.

Or...straight up just a BBA Stout. Preferrably that triple mash one from a couple months ago.

 

For those who haven't heard, Dylan will be head brewer at Helmsman Ale House - Newport Beach, set to open this summer.

 

Is Dylan the one credited with creating Bottle Logic's barrel program?

Yikes, apparently he’s partnered with the guys who own Malarkey’s and Stag Bar, two soulless joints that serve your typical Bud/Miller/Coors swill. Why he would leave Bottle Logic for those kind of partners, I gotta assume that it’s purely for financial reasons. Those are the kind of guys will stave off creativity for safe bets. I’m not optimistic this new spot will turn out to be anything noteworthy.

Also, new Stasis release dropping. The BA peach cobbler strong ale that was at Week of Logic.

 

Easy pass, didn’t love it at WOL.

 

Nobody gonna mention the roasted peanut cocoa nib stout doe?

 

Haven’t tried it, I’m a little curious. but also not too interested in more cinnamon beers haha.
