Either they are making a beer aged on dead bees called Yellow Jacket or a summer release of barrel aged mead called No Jacket Required, but as usual I could be completely wrong.

Barrel aged sours? Rev came for the barrel aged stout/barleywine crown and now sours? Summer release would be smart.

I was wondering the same thing after the, "Who said anything about stouts," comment.

...And that was my other thought. Not this guy. They just aren't my bag. Although I know a few people who would to get in on Rev's Deep Woods foray into BA sours dripping with their urban roof honey.

the hero 6pks have historically been 12.99 on retail shelves. I'm curious to see where hazy heros are priced in comparison

I missed that clue. Blue's Clues was never a thing in my house. I blame my kids.

Northeast-Hero will be the same price as all past hero six-packs. Retailers can charge whatever they want, but that’s typically in the $12-13 range. Let me know what you all think.

For those who can't access the Book at work:

"Join us for our first ever summertime celebration of Barleywine and the introduction of two all-new, limited-edition Straight Jacket variants.

    Strawberry Jacket - $40/four-pack
Yes, Strawberry Jacket. A slightly drier blend of bourbon and rye whiskey barrel English Barleywines aged eighteen months provides a base for the delicate nuances of fresh strawberry to shine while retaining the same balance we expect of our beloved Straight Jacket. Reminiscent a fresh, juicy strawberry atop a crème brûlée, this sipper can accompany dessert or stand on its own. Enjoy now or store cold.

    Honey Jacket - $40/four-pack
We’re not the only ones who’ve been busy since last Deep Wood season; Revolution’s only permanent residents (residing in a hive on the brewery’s roof) have been pollinating local flora and producing honey for the past year. Not to be outdone, our brewers selected a crop of eighteen-month-old bourbon and rye whiskey barrel-aged English Barleywines to imbue with the bees’ golden elixir. Worth the welts. Enjoy now or store cold.

    Quantities and limits TBD

Just checked recent releases of Deth By Currants, VSOJ, Cafe Deth, Ryeway, Vanilla Deth and Code Switch. They all mention 'store cold' on their labels.

Believe they have for cans, especially for Cafe Deth. Storing cold helps maintain adjunct flavor longer than at room temp. Fruits can go pretty quickly.
