Sounds like me yesterday when my wife dragged me to see the new Twilight movie at Alamo Drafthouse. Thank Zeus for pitchers.

On Black Friday 2008, Freetail opened its doors for the first time—literally ten minutes after we got the draught system operating & without any of our own beer on tap. One email was bold enough to call our opening the “stupidest thing” they’d ever seen & predicted our demise within a month. Fortunately, that prediction has missed the mark by at least forty-seven months as we celebrate our fourth anniversary. To commemorate, we present this robust German Chocolate-inspired brew, made with toasted coconut, cocoa, and an array of caramel malts. This ale is dedicated to all of you who have supported us throughout the years and to our dedicated team who make it all possible. Since I am going to my parents place next weekend for Thanksgiving, I will happen to be in town to pick up some Freetail. Crazy how it works out like that! Guess I will sneak away for Lunch on Saturday to enjoy whatever tasty beers they put on tap and pick up some bottles of Four and La Muerta (have a hard time believing there is still some left).

 

When we were there last week the La Muerta was filling a good part of the fridge (probably 50-ish bottles) and they also had 2 taps with it (2011 & 2012).

 

So you're saying that I went to that giant bottle share and got drunk at 9 in the morning for NOTHING?!?!

 

Guess I'll be there for a while...and maybe the next day

 

No growlers I understand but can I drink from the tap?

 

That sounds amazing.... would love to get to try it.... sadface...
