Best Beers by State?

    i'm almost positive that i used to be able to see (and print) a list of best beers by state. now it seems that you can only see best beers by region. has this changed or maybe it's now a Premium feature?

    I've noted that too. One work around I found is to type "top rated beer" and the state in Google or some other search engine. Don't know if there is a better way.

    I don't know if it's a Premium member-only feature, but when I go to either "Top Rated" or "Most Popular" lists, if you select the "United States" filter, a sub-filter option appears that allows you to refine the search by individual states.

    i'm stumped again.

    is there any way to search for top rated styles by state? or even by country?

    i'll be travelling to VT soon and trying to find good hefeweizens for a friend. maybe just have to ask in the regional forums?

    I don't think you can cross filter like that on the lists. You can look up the top rated hefeweizens and the top rated vermont beers, but there's no way to look up the top rated Vermont brewed hefeweizens.

    yup, Von Trapp is solid; thanks. i've also had Queen City. hoping to mix it up with new stuff.

    von Trapp is excellent but they do not make a Hefeweizen

    I would say the Top 2 brewers in NJ as Kane #1 , Carton #2. There a ton of very mediocre NJ brews out there- I wish the stores would stop buying so much local garbage-I guess they feel unpatriotic if they don' t support the home state-
