This type of post is legit the worst type of post on BA. It's a joke that hasn't been funny in years. It's misleading to people who might be on their way or considering going to a place to obtain a beer. Literally the most worthless thing.

 

Will cans at LZ last until 7?? Someone confirm...thanks

 

If you’re driving and on BA you can go pound salt and I hope you stayed off the road and missed out.

Which is more worthless, the post you deemed worthless or the post about the post you deemed worthless?

Half the people picking up this release are just looking to sell or flip for something else anyway, so I hope those people missed out as well.

 

This site is generally supposed to be helpful for people on here. Your post was the opposite of helpful*. Even if your above points were all 100% relevant/accurate (they aren't), they do nothing to change that.

*I assume that's why it was already deleted

 

So every joke on here that isn’t directly helpful, (anyone who is going to LZ knows they open at 3 so don’t think anyone was misinformed from my post) is worthless. Good point.

If anyone is still looking for the last release, JP's in naperville still has a handful of 4 packs (maybe more in fridge, not sure). Are we already out of hype phase for p3?

 

Yeah....outside of orange chantilly the rest have been average to below average....in all honesty. Market is to saturated to hype up any IPA anymore. Sad times.

Well I'd consider myself in between "just looking to sell or flip" and "not that excited about p3" but that's just me. I wouldn't speak for anyone else in the group, because that would be silly.

 

Unless you live on an icedrift in Alaska or on the moon, I will never understand buying/selling IPAs for anything over a couple bucks above retail. I can't imagine a place so beer-starved that you can't find something good (local) in what is the most over-served style in the market.

 

Like Tree House guys who want (and unfortunately get) $50+ per can of King Julius and Juice Machine?

 

That is ludicrous.

 

Also, Villa Pils wasn't that good. I like pilsners to have a noticeable hop bite, and VP didn't. Possibly they just wanted something with mass appeal so macro lager drinkers could still enjoy the experience?

 

I think KJ was going for $100 per can last summer about this time and/or was trading for pretty big BA stouts too. I think it had been a long time since there was a KJ release or something. Still, completely Ludicrous Speed.

 

Still about 14 cases at Beer Cellar at open today.

Either the hype is fading or they made a lot of this one.

 

Aren’t opinions great! I like it quite a bit - IPAs have the hoppy bite, I don’t usually want that in a pils. In this case I like whatever grain bill they used.

 

Well, to each their own, I guess! I will say VP is well-made, and it definitely goes well with food (a plus to have at a brew pub).
