TG 10 year anniversary inquiry....

    This Friday and Saturday is the 10 year event. Thinking of making the 4 hour trek Friday. Friday night at 6pm is when Assassin, MD, KBBS and others will be tapped. Can anyone confirm when the event starts Friday? I know TG typically opens at 11am.

    Secondly, is this "worth the drive" in your estimation? Will it be an absolute madhouse dash to try and and get a pour of the rare offerings come 6pm? I'm a 4 hour drive and in a walking boot so just trying to gauge it. Maybe just arriving early and finding a spot inside and posting up until 6pm would be my best bet ha. I also can bring some stuff to share if anyone is down for that. Let me know.

    Thoughts/opinions on this from those who've attended anniversary event years past would be welcomed. Cheers.

    Hard to say how much they have, but it will be busy. The tap room is huge though if you haven’t been. Honestly think Friday for kbbs would be the best bet with them releasing all 4 beers at 6 instead of staggered Saturday. We were going to go Friday, but due to chain smoker on Saturday are going to brave it then. If you haven’t had kbbs I would say that alone is worth the drive.

    There aren’t many people here currently. There’s a big tent set up, maybe a dozen people in there, 8 or 10 others in other places outside, and probably less than 100 inside.

    It's 6 Assassin barrels blended with vanilla added. Basically SR-71 with vanilla. Definitely not worth $700 though.
