I see. I have never been, I've just seen them continue to use that style in their tasting room and in their marketing photos, so I assumed they still sold them.

I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but I believe they stopped selling them to customers to go due to a lack of consistency in quality.

I have been many times but never since they started the available can updates. Do they ever refresh that list mid week or is it all they have left until next Wednesday? Tring to decide if I go today, or in a few weeks.

edit - screw it I’ll go anyway to try the onsite stuff

On the subject of the “newer” stem glasses. I just got mine and love it be holy crap I’m scared to use it, that is some fragile glass. You can tell one wrong cling and it’s gonna crack. Gotta be extra careful taking care of this one.

Same. I like it but rarely use it in part because of how fragile it it. It’s also a really long stem and narrow bowl which makes it feel top heavy if you fill it much. As much as I want to love this glass just because of how nice it looks, I find it’s great for sours but not really much else.

I plan to visit the brewery on Thurs, 6/27. I would appreciate any advice about what times are best to avoid the biggest crowds. Thanks

11:30AM. Doesn’t look like a big week for releases so it would surprise me if it was that busy on Thursday. Spend as much time as you possibly can there. Not many beer experiences like it.

I'm thinking about making my first visit up from Boston on either July 4 or 5. I'm guessing I should expect a larger crowd given the holiday? Is there any schedule to their releases, or do they just announce drops for a given day on social media?

I'm super excited for my visit, and plan to spend some time there maybe getting food and a couple beers. Any tips for my visit would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend going on thursday, arriving at open (11:30) and expect to spend more money than planned.

Make sure to grab your growler number (out of the deli ticket machine) when you walk into the taproom. Many people walk right past it without realizing it. You can fill 750 swing tops and 2L growlers from other breweries so bring your TH & Trill glass.

Hit up River Roost in White River Junction on your way back. Fill your Trill 32oz glass there

Enjoy your trip & happy birthday USA!

Weekly releases are announced the Sunday before on Instagram usually.

They usually update the upcoming bottles and cans Saturday night, shortly after closing. But I have noticed stuff being added midweek recently. Dorothy was just added randomly on a Tuesday or Wednesday night. Madness & Reason 7 was recently added on a Thursday night. The cans for recent Damon release (d.Nelson and I forget the other) were updated Tuesday. Anniversary week they had Double Citra cans added Thursday night (was happy as I was going up that Friday). Thursday also tends to be the slower day of the week and usually when they do "silent releases" and put out the box sets and/or Mags.

Rare bottles that condition for months, I think you can safely assume will be updated the weekend before the Wednesday opening. But cans, draft, shelfies will be put out throughout the week, as the beer is packaged and ready for sales.

Thank you everyone for the great advice. I'm stoked for my trip. Thursday seems like the day to go, although the recent Thursday night drop has me wanting to go on Friday. Decisions!

Are there any limits on growler and/or cans? If not, my wallet is in BIG trouble.

They rarely have posted limits on growlers and or cans. Some recent beers had posted limits: Double Nelson (cans, case per person), Madness & Reason #7 (2x750 ml growlers per person).

Otherwise, you should be able walk out with a hefty amount of takeaway beer in can and growler format.

In closing, you're wallet is in big trouble.

Big trouble indeed, thanks again for the info. Ah man, this is turning into a potential Thursday overnight into Friday trip. Would give me more time at the brewery and to enjoy some fresh air outside the city.

Any recommendations for things to check out in the area after the brewery closes for the day?

I saw a kid fill 50, yes 50 growlers there at one time for some party he was throwing. I was there Saturday at 1pm and it was loaded with cars and people, more than I've ever seen with 3 lots in order. Still, the retail side was super fast and I had one guy in front of me in line. I had grabbed a growler ticket before that and had the perfect amount of time for retail, a bathroom visit and two pours before my number came up. I got one 750 and split around 2:15. it's really efficient there.

That's ridiculous. If it truly was for a party, do they not sell kegs?!

Not sure. I'd seen the same guy at the Alchemist earlier that day and he had a box trailer loaded with stuff, including all the glass to fill and two hot chick mules.

I had a retail employee tell me they’ll sell kegs during “the offseason.” This was about a year or so ago. The policy might have changed between then and now

Another quick question re: drafts at the brewery. Are they limited to 2 pours per person? I'm reading that some places online but not others. Seems like it might be hard to spend an extended period of time there if you can't get more than 2 beers. Some clarity would be much appreciated!
