I’ve shopped at Downers Grove & Orland Park, never noticed individual can pricing. If the singles aren’t in the singles section you can break up 4&6 packs on the shelf & as previously noted you just pay the 4 pack price divided by how many singles you buy

This is good to know as I'm occasionally at the OP location.

So I can just break-up 4-packs even if there is no individual can pricing? Did not know that. Thanks! I'll check it out next time. It's always hard to find good singles selections in the city.

You guys following the pics of a real gem on fb and untappd? Tons of shit settling at the bottom of people's glasses. Looks pretty nasty

It's a heavily hopped and fruited, unfiltered, oat IPA. It's called sediment. Just drink straight from the can

I think 30% is low balling it.

Pipeworks just tweeted that they are changing how they package some of their beers, and that we will start seeing single cans of some of their beers. The picture showed a box with twelve 16 ounce cans. Could that mean stuff like the fish series going into single cans?

Doesn't this tie into the "bombers are going away" rumor? Seems like the core lineup will probably stay in 4 packs and everything else will be sold as a single can.

Honest and transparent for sure, but most the 2018 ba offerings turned and now this has me a bit frustrated. I’m a pipeworks diehard, but apologies and refunds are only nice when not consistently required. Here’s to hoping a bad luck streak has been just that and not a loosening grip on quality and consistency.

I think the two things are totally different. One is a quality issue that I have genuine concern for, floaties in a NE IPA with fruit is not either of those things.

Couldn't they just rebrand Real Gem as a Protein Shake IPA?

As long as that stuff doesn't turn brown when it oxidizes I think it will be okay.

Completely agree with this. Floaties aren't a QC issue. They are common in heavily hopped, heavily fruited, unfiltered beers.

Then it would just be “Chocolate Protein Shake IPA.”
