    Fingers crossed for NC in addition to FO!

    FO Weekend has been confirmed for July 20-21, so if your buddy wants to try FO and some nifty one-offs, that’s the weekend to visit.

    (Other fingers crossed for some more FOMO and FOCOCO making a return that weekend as well!)

    Madagascar vanilla: so that should mean this year's batch is less marshmellow-y, and has more of a "classic vanilla" flavor profile, than last year's, right?

    I can hope! I appreciated the marshmallow last year, but definitely preferred the in-your-face vanilla of batch 3. So if this is much closer to batch 3, I'll be a happy camper :slight_smile:

    I'm not familiar with them using anything other than Madagascar myself haha. Had to double-back just now to check and I don't see anything mentioned other than Madagascar.

    I've had 8 bottles and I had two (or was it three) that was super sweet, marshmallow while others were pretty much brownie batter. Bottle variation I guess lol.

    Weird. Sweet was what I definitely got from batch 3. Batch 4 had large barrel presence, though I'll fully admit that I haven't opened a newer bottle in....3 months?

    Guess I know what I'll pop open this week.

    Also a fair point! A couple of those were at blind shares too, but you never know... The palate is a mysterious thing.

    If they make as many as they did last year I wouldn't worry about getting any. I could find cases on cases in stores as late as mid November last year still sitting on the shelf..

    Just drank 1 of many last night and was really impressed. Not better than jiff, pb noche, or even AC PBM, but still good.

    The odd part about it is after the release you couldn't find anything for months. Then all of a sudden everyone had a ton of it and you could find it in lots of places including pizza parlors.. It was all sort of weird.
