They have to fund the ongoing-and-never-going-to-finish expansion somehow. If they keep pushing price up, maybe it will be done next year for their 20th Anniversary party.

Between them and the mythical MT location, Anaheim sounds like it's probably a brewery's nightmare.

So much for being the Brew City.

Noble's delayed postponed never-going-to-happen expansion isn't due to the city, and MT is coming along nicely. Remember that Anaheim approved a pool at a brewery - I don't know if it gets any more "brewery friendly" than that.

That's what i heard as well - the expansion ran into some logistical snags that will be prohibitively expensive to overcome, so it seems extremely unlikely. I've also heard that Anaheim could still be more "brewery friendly" as it is jerking a couple of local breweries around on permitting fees, etc., but they're still better than a lot of other cities. I wonder if some of that Brew City talk took a back seat when Tait got replaced.

Was the logistical snag that all their credibility went out the door with their head brewer a couple years back?

Seriously, though, would love to hear more on the snag if anyone has more info. Just really curious is all.

Going to an Angels game and thought I'd check Noble's website for a current tap list but it hasn't been updated since 6/28. Almost a month since they've updated the tap list on their own website. Unreal.

Hey, hey, hey--cut 'em some slack! GEEZ!

They're probably busy with that expansion.

I’m sure they will have an ipa on tap.

I may or may not stop in Nobles when we go see the ChiSox play in August. I’ll definitely hit up Karl Strauss (for food) and Green Cheek b4 the afternoon game.

Some guy on the Alvarado thread put Noble as a Tier 2 brewery... had a good chuckle at that

Went to Noble before and Angels game in April and noticed that half of the beers on their board were "can pours." Is this the usual for them now? The stout can I got was actually really good, but boy is the set-up dirty. Nothing like cobwebs on the tanks.

Looks like Noble is releasing a Naughty Sauce Variant tonight made with caramel. Usually I’d be all over any Naughty variant, but this is an easy pass. I’m hoping someone tries it and let’s us know how it is

The only variant I ever liked more than the regular was Bean Bump. Do they still do that one???

I believe that was their imperial take on Naughty. Unfortunately I’ve never tried it, nor have I seen it on in a while. Back in the day they had Cinnamon Roast Crunch, which was pretty good. And last year I recall trying a Pumpkin version that was oddly/stupidly named Yoga Pantz. Cheers.

I liked the name Yoga Pantz. Because people who drink pumpkin spice lattes do yoga.

There are a lot of other beers on here called Yoga Pants (although Noble went hip with the z on the end), and I never really put together the whole latte thing... Agree to disagree. Cheers, my man.

Pretty sure they had a social media post at some point about it being pumpkin latte season or saying how it tastes like a pumpkin spiced latte. It was at that point that I was like "oh... ha.... yoga pants, I get it".
