Brouwerij Lane in Brooklyn had some at $8 a piece earlier today but there was only 3 bottles left in the fridge when I left. It seems like it's all over town at the moment. I'd visit any store that usually gets Founders to try your luck.

Ah, OK. Must be a new policy for them (the same woman was happy to sell me King Henry and offer me BCS). I don't have a problem with stores doing this though, I'm just glad I was able to grab a couple bottles elsewhere.

It's unfortunate that so many retailers see the need to mark this stuff up. I paid 5.99 per bottle at a few different places yesterday..not sure why they feel they have to wring every last penny out of a case or two of beer.

I would think 5-6 is normal and fair for this, there is no way this beer is cheaper than reg founders stouts...

I know it's not Metro NYC, but DeCicco's in Westchester put KBS on sale today at 12pm.

$5.99 per bottle, 2 bottle limit. Happy to have scored that much. No issue with the price either.

Sorry, wasn't being very clear. Yes, 5.99 is the price...I don't know why folks are charging 9, 10, 12 bucks a bottle.

Well I do know why but I wish it weren't so!

WF Chelsea sold out of their case in about 3 min... a handful of us where in line, then at 4 we all got a bottle, said we could get back in line and get another if no one else was there after we checked out, but when we went back (after about 3 min) it was all gone...

oh got, stores knows people will still buy even at that price... its a shame too

Right on the New Canaan(CT) border basically. Vista Beer & Beverage and as far as left over I had three 4packs left when I left tonight and seeing as I open tomorrow (11am woopwoop) I can give a exact time of selling out. 2 cases flew!

[Edit] Although now that I'm thinking about it, I may split the last 2 up and just sell 2 bottles per? Want to make sure enough people get it now. Dangit! See what demand is tomorrow morning I guess. Still got Nugget Nectar too! Not much though. Haha. [/edit]

86 beer and deli and bay ridge (yeah the place that charged $100 for CBS) has KBS now and it's $30 a 4 pack which isn't terrible. They seemed to have changed their ways.

I assume/hope that Founders had a nice chat with them about CBS.

I'd rather overpay in trade then give them my money. Of course they won't have any trouble selling at that price.
