Good luck w the derm folks. I quit going. It seemed that every time I went and pointed out something that I felt could be an issue it was "we'll look at that next time". Sometimes that happened and sometimes not. Just wanted to keep the $s coming in is what I thought. Besides I have more pressing issues to deal w.

Excellent milkshake sour as usual. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, lime, fruit skin/seed, citrus zest, lemon, peach, pear, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; light peppercorn, musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, zesty bitterness, and Brett spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. Creamy/bready/grainy wheat/lactose; some sticky zest, and fruit tang/acids in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing acidic/tangy/zesty/spicy drying; no pucker/astringency. Refreshingly smooth/soft, mellowly lactic, zero warming 4.5%. Awesome balance of authentic/vibrant fruits and Brett/Lacto complexity; with a great balanced lactose, and pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Mild residual sweetness with crisp drying. Whole series has been consistently enjoyable. Glad I got the 4 pack as expected.

Martin House Half Xmas barrel aged imp. stout.
Aged 6 mos. in bourbon barrels. Very rich, very smooth. Why are my faves usually higher ABV?

Good night. Wifes said stop.

 

New Arcadia IPA. This was excellent. Fantastic fluffy head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and some resin/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, pretty refreshing, not overly aggressive, zero warming 7.7%. Awesome Citra/Mosaic profile as expected. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice bready pale/wheat/Munich malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering crisp resin dryness. One of their best IPAs in a while. Spot on West coast style.
